The Lotus Garden becomes a 501 (c) (3) charity

On February 12, 2015, the IRS designated the Lotus Garden a tax exempt public charity under IRS code section 501 (c) (3).  This means that donors can deduct contributions they make to us.  We can also receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts.  Many thanks to the numerous gardeners who spent hours researching and debating the pros and cons of applying for 501 (c) (3) status !
